Efficient Wastewater Treatment Solutions

Starluxe provides comprehensive services for constructing and maintaining systems that utilize both suspended and attached growth processes. We design and build wastewater treatment tanks using durable materials like reinforced concrete or steel, ensuring they can withstand hydraulic and biological loads. Our systems incorporate advanced aeration methods for suspended growth and provide ample surface area for biofilm attachment in attached growth systems. We also integrate specialized microorganisms that target specific pollutants, including nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria for nutrient removal, and methanogens for biogas production. Additionally, we offer Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems that include evaporation, crystallization, and reverse osmosis units to recover water and minimize liquid waste, ensuring sustainable wastewater management. With automated monitoring systems for oxygen, flow, and sludge levels, Starluxe ensures efficient, environmentally-friendly wastewater treatment solutions.

Specialized Microorganisms

Specialized microorganisms in wastewater treatment, including bacteria and fungi, are crucial for targeting and breaking down specific pollutants during biological treatment processes, especially in secondary and tertiary stages. Key types include nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria, which convert ammonia to nitrate and then reduce nitrate to nitrogen gas, respectively. Phosphate-accumulating organisms (PAOs) are used for enhanced biological phosphorus removal by storing excess phosphorus as polyphosphate. Methanogens, involved in anaerobic digestion, convert organic matter into methane, while hydrolytic and fermentative bacteria break down complex organic compounds into simpler substances. Sulfur-reducing bacteria (SRB) convert sulfates to hydrogen sulfide in anaerobic conditions, making these specialized microorganisms essential for efficient wastewater treatment processes such as nutrient removal and biogas production.
